It's been a while....

Well it has sure been a while since i last blogged....lol....Here are my 2 recent lo's that i have done, i really havn't been in the scrapping mood of late, maybe because it's been so cold and i am now stuck out in the garage...lol.... Yay mr mojo is back!!!

i havn't scrapped for weeks as i have just had no desire to, and the other day it just all came back and i managed to get 3 lo's done...wooo hoooo go me!!!

the photo's on the lo of jamie were taken last weekend on our little camping trip at Noosa, we all had such a fantatstic time, it was really nice to just get away, we are now planning for our next camping trip at Xmas time,wich is only 6 mths away omg how time flies.

LO for scrapjacked

here is my attempt at this months aussiescrapjacked.....i think i just scraped in by the skin of my teeth.....TFL

couple of things to share today, this first lo is from the may monthly pack over at Crafting in Style-------------------->link over in my sidebar.I have based this lo on a sketch of jolene's that is on her new sketch blog http://cis-stylish-sketches.blogspot.com/ i really loved this months pack very girly and pretty, i really love those Delish dew drops i made a butterfly out of them in the top right hand corner.









Also i have been busy making this Hinged Frame by Susan Doyle....i had so much fun making this and its all done with crate pp's, these papers are so devine i loved working with them.....think i may make a few of these as gifts for xmas presents....any way thanks for looking and have a great day

i only managed to get 2 of the challenges done, had a bit of a busy weekend......well DS is sitting here waitng for his driving instuctor he is off for his second driving lesson, so if you live in the brisbane area keep of the roads till after lunch time.......lol...only kidding, i think he's doing ok i havn't been game to take him yet i would prefer if he had a few more lessons up his sleeve,Dh took him for a drive on ANZAC morning at about 7am and they got pulled over by the police and DS had to blow in the bag....lol.....

1.I am terrified of heights, i was ok with heights as a kid but as i am getting older it really scares me.

2.The first thing i do when i get out of bed is i hop on the computer to check emails and scrapbooking forums....i may have missed out on something while i was sleeping and i think i'm addicted....lol.....it drives my DH mad....lol

3.I didn't get my drivers licence until i was about 27....omg i dont why i waited so long!!!!!

4.I have not seen my birth mother since i was about 5 or 6 she walked out on my dad,she told us kids she was going shopping and never came back.

5.Mmmmm this is getting hard.......ok i have 2 tattoos i got them done when i was 17....wholy crap that was a long time ago....lol

6.I am terrified of spiders....hate them with a passion

7.I cannot stand a messy house, my kids reckon i was anal about it....lol when they where little i used to lock them out of their own rooms so they wouldn't mess up their beds or rooms....lol....i must say i am not that bad now.....they are all teenagers now so i give up trying to clean their rooms so i just shut the doors.......but i still know the mess is behind the door and it drives me crazy.......

Woooo Hoooo

first off here are some lo's that i have done recently.......and now for my great news my son has finally got a hairdressing apprenticeship.....yay for him, he has been working so hard to get this , he has had a few falls along the way and felt like giving up but i am so proud of him for sticking with it and he is just over the moon.

LO's to share

just sharing some of my latest lo's....not a lot happening in the scrapping world at the moment i have been pretty quite and not really going on the forums much...have been trying to spend less time on the computer.....lol....have been getting a few things done around the house like CLEANING and the general houshold duties....lol

Well today is the day that my son finds out if he has got this hairdressing appernticeship, he has been doing a two week trail at a salon in Springwood and they told him yesterday that would let him know today if he has got it, he has loved every minute of it,so i hope for his sake he gets it or he will be sooo disapointed.

Not much else to share so i will leave it at that

just some recent lo's to share

well it sure has been a while since i lasted blogged....lol....well not much has really been happening around here just the usual of running kids here there and everywhere.....lol....i do have some good news to share though, my daughter samantha finally has got herself a full time job, after sitting around for nearly 12mths, she did have a couple of part time jobs throughout the year but only earning a few $ here and there.....anyway she has herself a traineeship for reception work at this bridal shop its called Wendy Makem Bridal Designs....after the traineeship they will be training her for fashion design aswell, so she is really excited about this opportunity.she starts on the 15th of this month so she is making the most of the last few days she has left of doing nothing....lol she will be doing a 38 hour week, i think it will kill her at first.....lol... welcome to the real world samantha....lol

well ds jamie has an interview today for 1st year hardressing apprentice, so i am hoping he does well and gets the job.not a lot else happening ....hubby went back to work on monday so i should be able to get some more scrapping done, i really need to get in and clean my desk up as there is a huge mess on there...well better go and do some housework so it looks like i have done something for the day instead of sitting on here....lol.....

well i have a few lo's to share, i had my very first cyber crop over at http://craftinginstyle.openstores.com.au/product.html?id=612 the three challenges that were set were fantastic, the believe in your dreams lo had to be a basic lo you could not use any pp omg that was hard, you also had to hand cut most of your title and the only enbellies you could use was some chipboard.
this face melts my heart lo was a sketch challenge and you also had to use a b/w photo,and i really love how this one turned out. And the last lo had to have 4 or more photos some ribbon and something about the word first in it, am really happy with all 3 lo

just a quickie.........

just thought i'd share some recent lo's with you,the first one is of my youngest son Nick in his lacrosse gear i so love the b/w photo of him......... the second one is of my whacky son Jamie.....lol...... who by the way got a call back for a second interview for an apprenticeship at Stefans.....so keep your fingers crossed that he gets it........he soooo wants to do hairdressing and he so has the personality for it ,he is doing cert II in haidressing at tafe at the moment and doing 2 days a week working in Stefans and he is loving every minute of it, so we were really pleased when he got the second interview which was today and he said it went really well, so we'll just keep everything crossed that he gets it......lol
ok now the last lo is of my daughter Samantha when she was about 4, wasnt to sure about leaving so much space on the lo as i am so used to using up every bit of space, but it is growing on me.....well thats about it for now

ok it's about time i updated, well the Melbourne trip was fantastic loved every minute of it,didn't get to do any sight seeing though was too bust watch Lacrosse.Well the boys did a great job representing thier state they won 2 games out of the 6 but a few of them were very close.....these boys have only been together for 6months and most of the other teams have been together for a few years anyway was a great trip.....we will be doing it again in January but this time on the Gold Coast here are some pics....the first pic is of dh and ds at the airport, second pic is of ds playing a game of lacrosse and third pic is of ds in his QLD tracksuit.....have heaps more photo's but wont bore you with them all just yet.......lol
In other news my ds Jamie is going for an interview for an apprenticeship at stefan's he's currently doing work experience there 2 days a week as well as going to tafe 3 days a week doing cert II in hairdressing.....so keep your fingers crossed as he really wants this job at Stefan.oh and here is a pic of his new hairdo.

Been a while......

since my last post,still trying to get the hang of this thing,i still hav'nt figured out how to add links yet.......lol....i'm sure i'll get it some time soon

As some of you know my son Nick made it in to the Qld team for Lacrosse and he will be representing QLD in Melbourne,so i have been busy packing and getting the last few things together for this trip.....not long to go now only 5 more sleeps.....yay.....he's getting a little excited now.....i just hope i don't forget anything.....lol
and here are my most recent lo's that i have done, i wont get time to do any more till i get back from Melbourne....i will also be checking out some scrapbooking shops while i am there too.....

new lo.....

here is a lo i have done for a challenge over at zig zag really enjoyed this one as we had to use flower stamps, well i have had the mm foam flower stamps that my mother in law bought me for a while now and have never used them so i used them for this challenge.
Didn't really do much this weekend, Saturday morning i went shopping for some clothes for my Melbourne trip and got a few good bargins then at 12.30 we went to watch my ds play he Lacrosse game and didn't get home til about 4.30 did a bit of scrapbooking for about an hour,and saturday night my dd and her boyfriend came for dinner and to watch the footy, hubby was wrapped that St George won he was running around like an idiot......lol....and on Sunday hubby and i went to the markets didn't buy anything except strawberries and they were yummy.....

Well today i am off shopping again,there is a new scrapbooking shop opening up about 5 mins drive from my house and today is their grand opening so it worked out really well cause i don't have to work today.....yay....hopefully they will have the new basic grey papers.
I'd better go and get ready they open in an hour...

ok here goes, my first entry for my first ever blog......

Well firstly i must say that this past week has been an emotional one what with the death of Steve Irwin (i think i'm still in shock) and then yesterday with the death of Peter Brock,and then the passing of Princess Rani,my heart goes out to Mel and her family at this sad time,i have been reading Mel's blog for a few months now and was checking every day in the hope that Rani would recieve her liver transplant, i was devestated to hear that she had lost her fight. May you rest in peace sweet little Rani

Ok on other news my daughter finally got a job YAY, she finished grade last 12 year and has been having a holiday for the past 10 months (the teens these days) She started on Monday at Amart all Sports and has been doing 8 hrs a day the poor bugga is tired and doesn't know whats hit her,Welcome to the real world, any way with her getting this job it has really taken a load of my mind as i was really starting to worry about her having no job.
Well i think thats about it for my first entry hopefully i'll remember to update.....lol
oh before i go here is the latest lo i have done its of my son nick playing Lacrosse,he has made the Queensland team for under 15's and at the end of this month he is off to Melbourne to represent Qld .....i'm so pround of him he has really commited himself to this sport .
